Ricketts Glen State Park, Pennsylvania

Today we went to beautiful Ricketts Glen State Park and hiked the aptly named Falls Trail, which has 22 waterfalls. The highest waterfall is 94 feet tall. The combination of Autumn foliage and rushing waterfalls was absolutely stunning.

We were surprised to find snow on the ground on the upper part of the trail.

Pretty green hemlocks and white snow.

It's funny, I just went to your profile and saw you have this other blog...I'm a fan of A Walk In The Woods too...My mother and I want to hike the AT in 2010...we're both out of shape, so you can imagine how much we related to Katz in the book!

I knew you had a post on this hike. I was reading in Backpacker Magazine that this is the best hike in the Keystone State. It sounds amazing! Art
